Recognized on March 16, 2021 at a virtual awards ceremony held in conjunction with the International Economic Development Council Leadership Summit, 40 professionals were selected for their skillsets to build strong, inclusive and forward-thinking communities as the EDI faces challenges like never before.

“We are proud and honoured to have Daniel, a leader of the FDI community, as part of our team,” said Hubert Bolduc, President of Investissement Québec International. “This recognition not only demonstrates his contribution to the industry but also his true dedication to the Québec economy by continuing to grow and diversify foreign direct investment throughout Québec.”

Daniel, a previous winner of the Top 40 Under 40 award in 2019 and recipient of the 2021 class of Top 50 Economic Developers in North America, joined the newly created division of Investissement Québec International (IQI) as Vice President, Foreign Direct Investment in January of 2020 to lead a team of more than 60 foreign direct investment attraction professionals based in Québec and in Québec’s international office network abroad. The IQI FDI mandate is to double foreign direct investment and double talent attraction to the province of Québec. The team is responsible for supporting new foreign direct investment and working with foreign companies on their re-investment projects throughout the province.
