PDAC 2019: Investissement Québec at the World’s Premier Mining Convention
Every year, Investissement Québec and its subsidiaries Ressources Québec and SOQUEM capitalize on the PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) convention, which a substantial proportion of the world’s mining industry ecosystem attends, to meet with mining companies and foreign investors.
In addition to private meetings, Investissement Québec joined with the Ministère des Ressources naturelles (MERN) and the Québec Office in Toronto to organize a lunch presided over by Jonatan Julien, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and a reception to provide information about Québec for foreign investors and mining companies.
PDAC’s annual convention is considered to be the mining industry’s leading international event. In recent years, it has attracted over 1,000 exhibitors, 3,500 investors and 25,600 participants from 135 countries. The 2019 convention took place from March 3 to 6, 2019, in Toronto.
